The picture quality is very good for Blu-ray, and I'm looking forward to the film being released in 4K. The backstory to the Alien franchise and the plotline that was chosen are certainly a matter of taste. (I also had my difficulties with it). But the visual effects, especially the 3D, are still well done today and make the film worth watching.

The best sound quality was probably chosen for the Blu-ray. Turn it up to full volume!!! :-)
